LEADS from LLAMA

Is it time to reinvent your library services, but you’re not sure how to get started? The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will present “Planning to Transform Your Library,” on Wed., Sep. 3, at 1:30 – 3:00 PM (Central time).

This webinar will present library service inquiry methods, including planning steps and models, to help you start to develop your next library service plan.  It will define opportunities that should be on your radar and offer strategies to get started.  This program will also provide you with a framework to analyze your library and the services you offer.

By the end of this webinar participants will:

• Understand how to do a self-study to reinvent a library service.
• Define opportunities to improve organizational transformation.
• Experience four examples of modes of learning.
• Explore the use of the library in both physical and virtual modes.

Presenter:  Alex Cohen, Library Planner.   Alex is a library consultant, programmer and planner.  He is president of Aaron Cohen Associates (ACA); a global library consulting firm that focuses on architectural design and organizational planning.
