LEADS from LLAMA

ALA Annual is almost upon us and I’d like to call on you as a member of LAMA membership to please volunteer to staff the booth. THERE ARE STILL PLENTY OF OPEN SPOTS. Just an hour or two of your time is all that we ask, so that you can:

• Provide information about LAMA, its sections, committees, and discussion groups
• Raise LAMA visibility
• Encourage new memberships
• Encourage increased member participation on LAMA committees
• Promote LAMA publications
• Market LAMA by the use of a raffle for plush toy llama
• Provide an opportunity for members and potential members to talk with LAMA members

This year is a special year since we are celebrating LAMA’s 50th Anniversary and will have special giveaways and booth decorations.

Please contact Shelly McCoy, smccoy@udel.edu, with the date and time
slot(s) that you can volunteer. Here are the hours for the exhibits:

• Saturday, June 23, 2007 Opening Ceremony, exhibit hours 9:00 a.m. to
  5:00 pm.
• Sunday, June 24, 2007 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Monday, June 25, 2007 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Tuesday, June 26, 2007 Afternoon closing reception; exhibit hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
