LEADS from LLAMA

Is your LLAMA section or committee thinking about proposing a preconference for the ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans in 2011?  The LLAMA Program Committee (LPC) invites you to present your idea to the LPC at the Midwinter meeting in Boston in January 2010. In order for your idea to receive our full consideration, we ask that you:

1. Give us a description of your proposed preconference using the LLAMA Program Proposal form, now updated and ready for your use. Fill out the form up to the end of SECTION ONE, (omitting attachments I through VII), and send it as an email attachment to: Philip J Tramdack philip.tramdack@sru.edu, Fred Reuland freuland@ala.org, sponsoring committee Chair (if available), sponsoring section Chair (if available).
2. Schedule a meeting with the LPC to talk about your proposal. We will be meeting from 1:30 to 5:30 Saturday, January 16, 2010 and from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Sunday, January 17, 2010, both days in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) Room 251. We have reserved a few times at the beginning and end of our meetings when we can meet for 15 minutes with you or your representative.
