Chicago Preconference Helps Improve Your Marketing

Learn from experts, share with peers and have fun at “The Expert Marketing Clinic.”  This half-day preconference will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm., in conjunction with the American Library Association (ALA) 2013 annual conference in Chicago. It is sponsored by the Library Leadership and Management Association Public Relations and Marketing Section (LLAMA-PRMS).

Participants will experience a hands-on, interactive workshop to improve their marketing. A panel of marketing experts from major content vendors along with library PR professionals will collaborate to improve participant marketing plans and will “speed date” their best marketing tips.

Speakers include: Stacie Ledden, Anythink Libraries; Erin Fisher, Grand Valley State University; Jeffrey
Clovis, Thomson-Reuters; and Jenny Johnson, OCLC.

Registration fees: LLAMA members $100, ALA members $150, student members $75, non-members $250.
