New LLAMA webinar: “Library Fund Raising: Sharing the Passion with Library Staff”

Are you actively involved with library fundraising and want to help your library colleagues better understand your role as a fundraiser?   LLAMA’s next webinar can help.  “Library Fund Raising: Sharing the Passion with Library Staff,”sponsored by LLAMA’s Fundraising and Financial Development Section (FRFDS) will be presented January 31, 2012, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Central Time.

Description: How can we share our passion for fundraising with other library staff? Do you sometimes feel as if library staff think you are from another world? Working with donors can sometimes be the easy part when compared with trying to engage other library staff in our function as fundraisers. Join us as we hear from a public librarian and an academic library professional who have successfully engaged their staffs in fundraising activities and learn how you can apply their experience. Learn how to best to articulate what we do.
