Library Building Projects 101 – Planning, Design, and Construction: a two-day workshop with optional third day site tour

October 17-20, 2019, Dublin, Ohio

This two-day workshop and optional third day site tour is presented by the LLAMA Buildings and Equipment Community of Practice. Participants will delve into the many facets related to library building projects and will examine critical topics through lectures and discussions. Material covered includes goal setting, process definition, site selection, team composition, budget development, and the types of planning required to bring a project to successful fruition, whether in new construction, renovation or expansion. An optional final day tour will explore new local public and academic libraries.
