2015 PR Xchange Award Winners Announced

For Immediate Release

Monday June 15, 2015— LLAMA’s Public Relations and Marketing Section (PRMS) PR Xchange Committee is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s “PR Xchange Award Competition” for library publicity materials. Nearly 375 entries in print and electronic formats were submitted from over 100 institutions including public, academic, school, state, and special libraries. Entries were appraised by a jury of seven library marketing and communications professionals on the quality of content, format, design, creativity, and originality. This year we are awarding 32 winners who submitted their printed materials and 28 winners who submitted their materials electronically.

This year, the jury of 7 people included : an architect, a library marketing consultant, a library school professor with experience in graphic design, and several librarians who work in marketing and/or outreach. The jury was very impressed by the innovative and compelling work submitted by libraries.
