Entries sought for 2008 LAMA/YBP Student Writing and Development Awards

The Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA) is now accepting entries for the 2008 LAMA/YBP Student Writing and Development Award. All students enrolled in a graduate program in library and information studies are eligible to submit essays on the theme,“Fifty Ways to Lead Your LAMA.” LAMA President W. Bede Mitchell chose this as his presidential theme for 2008.

The winning article will be published in a future issue of Library Administration & Management. The author will also receive a travel grant of up to $1,000, funded by YBP, Inc., to be used to attend the ALA Annual Conference , where he/she will be recognized at the LAMA President’s Program and the first meeting of the LAMA Board of Directors.
