LEADS from LLAMA

“Leadership by Design: Multi-generational Strategies for Leadership Development” will be presented Friday, Jan. 23, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Colorado Convention Center, Room 607.

The LLAMA Leadership Seminar will teach you about librarian leadership competencies and how to use these to create succession planning for your library.

The first part of the Seminar will be a presentation from LLAMA Emerging Leaders who surveyed library leaders and asked them about what leadership competencies they think library leaders should possess. The Emerging Leaders will be discussing their findings with the group. The second part of the Seminar will be an interactive presentation by Jep Enck of Enck Resources on how those competencies can be passed onto newer librarians to develop leaders for the future. The presenters will provide handouts and other materials (which you can purchase) to assist you after the Conference.
