FDLP Survey

The ALA Committee on Legislation (COL) is interested in your perceptions regarding the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP).  In June 2012, COL formed a Task Force on the FDLP to discuss the future of the program and how ALA might develop consensus within our membership to present a united voice on policy considerations.  The Task Force released its report in June 2013 (http://tinyurl.com/FDLPReport). The Task Force is considering the development of a national preservation plan in order to analyze a variety of issues that ALA might consider in the near future.  Your perspectives will be instrumental in advising COL and the Task Force on how ALA can lead change within the FDLP improving access to federal information.

In an effort to solicit broad input, all ALA members are encouraged to submit responses to the Task Force survey that can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FDLPTaskForce.  The online survey will be available until February 14th.
