LAMA Honored by ALA-Allied Professional Association
Jenifer Grady, Executive Director of the ALA-Allied Professional Association (ALA-APA) announced that the Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA) will be recognized as an ALA-APA Angel in celebration of the organizations first five years of service. Also honored are 29 other people and organizations that have helped ALA-APA grow and flourish, particularly in the area of establishing the organization and its missions of providing certification and supporting better salaries.
A reception honoring ALA-APA’s Angels will be held Friday, June 27, 2008, from 7:30-9:00 pm at the ALA Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
